As a New York State regional food hub Foodlink serves a 10-county area in the Genesee Valley and Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York.

Food banks do more than distribute food, and Foodlink is no exception. Serving meals, offering food-related programs, working to improve food security, educating, and advocating are among the other ways Foodlink works to resolve hunger issues.

Foodlink Distribution Events, co-sponsored by Foodlink of Rochester NY and the Cal-Mum Council of Churches.

Our local Cal-Mum Food Pantry is a member agency of Foodlink. In addition to the Cal-Mum Food Pantry, the Cal-Mum Council of Churches supports Foodlink by hosting a Free Food Distribution Event*.

The Distribution Events are held at Jones Hall in Caledonia, 5:30- 7:30 PM the second Friday of each month. Volunteers from First Presbyterian join with volunteers from other local churches to work at the food distribution events.

Foodlink is a founding member of the nationwide network of food banks known as Feeding America.

*You must be 18 or older to receive food; food is distributed on a first-come-first-served basis; there is no guarantee that there will be enough food for all attending; no income requirement; no geographic limits; no ID required.
