Wednesday Night Suppers
Our Mission: To invite and welcome people of all ages to a weekly community supper. Our ministry hopes to provide nourishment, encourage friendships and strengthen individuals in the name of Jesus.
Our Schedule: We serve a full meal every Wednesday from 5-6 p.m. during the months of October through May.
Our Menus: We alternate menus week by week, with a regular schedule of pasta (1st Wed.), chef's choice (2nd), soup and sandwich (3rd) and chef’s choice (4th) when the month has a fifth Wednesday, we’re still here! Join us for a surprise menu on those evenings.
All of our meals included an entrée, a vegetable and/or salad, dessert and beverages.
We encourage our guests to dine in Fellowship Hall, to gather with old friends or to get to know new ones. We do, however, offer take-out meals for those who need them. Simply request take outs at the kitchen door, and a volunteer will help you get what you need.
Our meals are served free of charge, although donations to help fund our ministry are gratefully accepted.
Our Volunteers: Our program is 100% volunteer run, and we welcome anyone who might like to help out. Contact Brian and Ann Shaffer if you’d like to volunteer, or if you have any questions about our program.
Our Success! Since we began with 35 guests on a snowy evening in 2007, we’ve grown into a far-reaching ministry serving an average of 130 meals each week. We welcome the new friends we meet each year, as well as, all of our “regulars” from years past. Please feel free to join us!
